RENO – Reno 1868 FC officials are pleased to announce an exclusive two-year kit partnership with adidas®, making adidas® the official kit provider for the upcoming 2017 and 2018 seasons.
“We are thrilled to come to terms with adidas® on a two-year kit agreement,” said Reno 1868 FC president Eric Edelstein. “Reno 1868 FC will be well-represented on the pitch by wearing world-class adidas® apparel.”
The two-year partnership also will make adidas® the primary brand of merchandise available to Reno 1868 FC fans in the official team shop at Greater Nevada Field. There will be a variety of adidas® items available for purchase at the friendly between Liverpool FC U21’s and Sacramento Republic FC on Wednesday, May 25, following the revealing of Reno 1868 FC’s crest at halftime.
“adidas® soccer is excited to partner with Reno 1868 as they expand professional soccer into Nevada,” said Senior Director of Soccer, Ernesto Bruce. “As a brand, adidas® has always looked to move the game forward into new territory, and this partnership will do just that.”

Reno 1868 FC unveiled its official team colors in early May – Nevada Cobalt Blue, light gold and silver grey – in Arroyo Mexican Grill at Greater Nevada Field. The colors incorporate elements of the current Nevada state flag, which was adopted in 1926 and updated in 1991. With all home matches played on green grass, all of the colors of the flag will be represented on Reno’s home matchdays.
Greater Nevada Field will serve as the host for a regular-season United Soccer League match on June 11 between Sacramento and Real Monarchs SLC. Tickets are still available online for both the May 25 contest and the June 11 match.
The uniform and coaching staff will be announced at a later date. For questions, or to discuss special interview or photograph needs, contact Cheyne Reiter at (775) 334-7089 or .
