BOYS IN BLUE COMING OFF LOSS IN ORANGE COUNTY

RENO, Nev.– After a three-game road trip, Reno 1868 FC finally returns home to take on Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday. Reno went 2-1-0 on the road trip, and sits just three points out of first place in the USL’s Western Conference.

Reno is 6-1-3 at home on the season and 24-9-11 all time, including back-to-back home shutouts against Sacramento and Rio Grande Valley. Los Azules have scored 14 goals in their last five home matches dating back to a 4-0 victory over Las Vegas on June 1.

1868 FC comes back to Northern Nevada after a 4-1 loss to Orange County. Reno has yet to lose two games in a row this season, and has not lost back-to-back games since July 28 and August 8 of 2018. The boys in blue are still second in the west, and tied for third in the entire USL. Reno’s 44 goals on the season are good for third in the league, and the team’s +12 goal differential is third-best in the west.
