RENO, Nev.– Reno 1868 FC midfielder Raul Mendiola has been named to the USL Team of the Week for week 20. Mendiola recorded two assists in the last two games to help lead Reno to a 2-0-0 start to the road trip.

In Reno’s 3-2 comeback win over OKC Energy FC, Mendiola assisted on Aidan Apodaca’s 71st minute goal that tied the game at two. Los Azules had previously trailed 2-0 at half. Against LA Galaxy II, Mendiola assisted on Seth Casiple’s 70th minute goal to make the lead 2-0 Reno. Mendiola’s assist would prove to be the difference, as LA would score in the 75th to make it a one-goal game.
